Surgical Drapes provide a protective barrier around the surgical area of the body, only excluding the head. The surgical drape is usually clipped to a pair of poles near the head of the bed to form an ether screen, which separates the space for surgery conductors from the surgical site. Creating such a sterile barrier to create and maintain a sterile field is referred to as draping. A sterile environment is extremely important against contaminants during and after surgery.
StaySafeTM Medical Clothing provides high quality surgical drapes that are both cost effective and highly fluid and puncture resistant.
Surgical drapes are available in several sizes and opening shapes for various surgery sites. Various materials and options are also available, including PP+PE or SMS material, to meet the surgical requirements of the surgeon. These materials are Non-Woven fabrics made from long fibers, bonded together by chemical, mechanical, heat or solvent treatments. Surgical drapes have the options of having a squared opening, ellipse opening or no opening, including tape or not including tape depending on the perimeters of the operation.
